ABOUT ME

I was born in Valparaíso, Chile, but life eventually led me to Paredones, a quiet coastal town where I live with my wife and our three cats.

I started out studying Sociology, thinking it was the right path for me. I enjoyed it, but deep down, something felt off, I couldn’t see myself truly happy as a sociologist. Making games always seemed like an impossible dream, something only attainable in places like the U.S. or Europe. But the moment I realized that becoming a Game Designer was actually within reach, everything changed. I dropped everything and threw myself completely into this new world.

Game design, to me, is more than just creating entertainment, it’s a cultural and social phenomenon, something that shapes the way we interact and experience stories. That perspective guides my work every day. Beyond games, I’ve always felt the need to express myself in different ways, especially through music. I write and perform rap because, sometimes, words hit harder when they rhyme.

When it comes to games, RPGs and Management sims have always fascinated me. I love designing intricate systems, watching gameplay evolve organically, and crafting mechanics that make players think. That passion has been the foundation of my career as a Systems Designer.
